My aunt was born as Johanna Annemarie Gregor in Leschnitz, Upper Silesia, Germany on March 22, 1905 to Johannes and Hedwig Gregor (my grand parents). |

She was the youngest of 3 daughters. Her oldest sister was Erna and the middle
sister was Charlotte my mother. By 1907 her parents had sold their portion of a farm in Leschnitz and moved to the city of Breslau in lower Silesia and later purchased the home they lived in. |

Sometimes around 1912 or 1913 her parents sold their house in Breslau and bought
a farm about 15 miles southwest of Breslau at the little hamlet of Gossendorf.
